Verde is looking for an Operations Manager to join our Pre-Opening Team in Ubud.

A leading hospitality group in Ubud is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join the pre-opening team of a new contemporary Italian restaurant. We are looking for a hands-on leader with strong restaurant operations experience, excellent people skills, commercial awareness, and a passion for refined service and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Open to local and expatriate candidates.
• 3–5 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in Asia.
• Experience in premium or refined dining concepts.
• Knowledge of Italian food, wine, and service is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Good understanding of P&L, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong guest service, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Fluent in English.
• Confident using POS systems and basic reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-opening activities and daily restaurant operations.
• Maintain a strong floor presence and ensure high service standards.
• Lead, train, and develop the restaurant team.
• Implement and maintain SOPs and operational procedures.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar teams.
• Manage staff scheduling and operational readiness.
• Handle guest feedback and ensure effective service recovery.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Drive operational improvements and efficiency.
• Report regularly to the Group Operations Manager.
