Tanu by Hukma is looking for a barista / front counter

Tanu by Hukma is a new café in Ubud, Bali, and is currently building its Opening Team. We are looking for an experienced and creative Barista / Front Counter team member with strong beverage-making skills and a passion for creating visually appealing drinks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Fluent in English.
• Good coffee-making and latte art skills.
• Able to create and develop drink recipes, including matcha, collagen drinks, and mocktails.
• Familiar with cash handling and POS systems.
• Creative and attentive to decorative, Instagram-worthy drink presentations.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Responsible, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, matcha, mocktails, and other beverages according to standards.
• Create and develop new drink recipes and menu concepts.
• Prepare quality latte art and maintain consistency in every beverage.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately.
• Maintain attractive and Instagram-worthy beverage presentations.
• Ensure the bar and front counter are clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Provide friendly and professional service to guests.
• Follow beverage quality, hygiene, and operational standards.
