Soma Ubud is looking for a Head Chef to join our Pre Opening Team in Ubud.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chef or Sous Chef in a hotel or high-volume restaurant
• Strong knowledge of HACCP standards
• Working proficiency in English

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a kitchen team of 10 cooks
• Oversee morning food production and manage the lunch pass
• Train, develop, and support the second-in-command kitchen team member
• Implement the established modern batch-preparation system in daily kitchen operations
• Ensure food preparation and service consistently meet quality and safety standards
• Monitor kitchen workflow and coordinate effectively with the kitchen team
• Maintain HACCP, hygiene, and food safety standards throughout operations
• Support a smooth and efficient pre-opening process and establish strong kitchen practices
