Soma Ubud is looking for a juicer / beverage prep

SOMA is a modern restaurant and café opening soon on Jl. Raya Sanggingan, Kedewatan, Ubud, offering clean food and carefully sourced ingredients from Bali’s best producers. We are looking for an experienced and highly organized team member to handle daily production of our juice and non-alcoholic beverage menu.

The role — juice & non-alcoholic beverage production

You are in charge of the daily production behind our drinks menu: cold-pressed juices, jamu, kombucha service, ice teas, smoothies, house canned drinks. Morning cold-press block for the whole day, then batching, bottling, labelling and stock control. This is a production role — precision and volume, not just service.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in juice production, beverage prep or a similar kitchen/bar production role
• Fully autonomous — able to plan and complete the day’s production on your own
• Works clean: strict hygiene, disciplined handling of fresh produce, cold chain respected
• Organised and methodical — recipes followed exactly, weights and yields respected, batches labelled and dated
• Comfortable with a juice press and blender, and with maintaining and deep-cleaning the equipment daily

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve espresso and filter coffee according to quality standards.
• Prepare cold-pressed juices, smoothies, house canned drinks, and jamu.
• Manage the bar independently from opening to closing.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure all ingredients are properly prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the bar area.
• Monitor stock levels and carry out proper stock rotation.
• Maintain bar equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Complete closing procedures and ensure the bar is ready for the next service.
