D&A Syrowatka is looking for a Head Chef

We are seeking an experienced culinary leader with a strong background in high-end and modern dining. The ideal candidate should have excellent leadership skills, strong knowledge of modern Western cuisine, and the ability to manage kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of quality and consistency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management position.
• Proven experience in high-end, modern, or upscale dining venues.
• Strong knowledge of modern Western cuisine and contemporary food presentation.
• Experience in menu planning, food costing, kitchen budgeting, and inventory control.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Able to maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency.
• Experience managing a busy kitchen and coordinating with service and management teams.
• Creative, organised, disciplined, and able to work well under pressure.
• Previous experience in a high-end modern venue.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure smooth service.
• Lead, manage, and develop the kitchen team.
• Plan and develop menus in line with the venue’s concept and standards.
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Manage food costs, kitchen budgets, inventory, and stock levels.
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards are maintained.
• Coordinate closely with the service and management teams during daily operations.
• Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements when needed.
