D&A Syrowatka is hiring a catering & event chef

We are seeking an experienced culinary professional with a strong background in catering, private dining, weddings, and large-scale events. The ideal candidate should be highly organised, able to manage food production for 100–250 guests, and maintain excellent food quality and timing in a fast-paced event environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in catering, events, or banquet kitchens.
• Strong experience handling private dinners, weddings, corporate events, and large-scale functions.
• Experienced in preparing and coordinating food production for 100–250 guests.
• Good knowledge of Western and high-end cuisine and event menu execution.
• Able to manage kitchen preparation, production, timing, and food quality during events.
• Strong organisational and coordination skills.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
• Team player with the ability to work effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee food preparation and production for private dining and large-scale events.
• Prepare and execute menus according to event requirements and culinary standards.
• Coordinate food production for events serving 100–250 guests.
• Manage kitchen preparation, timing, and workflow before and during events.
• Ensure food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control are maintained.
• Coordinate with the kitchen, service, and event teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor ingredients, preparation requirements, and kitchen resources.
• Adapt quickly to changing event requirements and work efficiently under pressure.
