D&A Syrowatka is hiring a pastry cook helper

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable candidate with previous pastry or bakery experience and a basic understanding of pastry preparation. The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, well-organised, and able to support the Pastry Chef in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a pastry kitchen or bakery environment.
• Basic knowledge of cakes, desserts, bread, and pastry preparation.
• Able to assist the Pastry Chef with daily preparation and production.
• Good understanding of hygiene and food safety practices.
• Willing to learn and develop pastry skills.
• Hardworking, organised, and reliable.
• Able to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pastry Chef with daily preparation and production.
• Prepare ingredients and basic pastry components as instructed.
• Assist with the preparation of cakes, desserts, bread, and pastries.
• Follow recipes, preparation methods, and portioning standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of pastry workstations and equipment.
• Store ingredients properly and follow food safety procedures.
• Support the pastry team during busy production periods.
• Assist with other pastry kitchen duties as required.
