Banquet manager

D&A Syrowatka is looking for a banquet manager / supervisor

We are seeking an experienced and organised hospitality professional with a strong background in banquet operations, catering, and events. The ideal candidate should have excellent coordination and leadership skills, with the ability to ensure smooth event execution while maintaining high standards of guest service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in banquet, catering, events, or hospitality.
• Experience handling weddings, private events, corporate functions, and large-scale events.
• Strong knowledge of banquet operations and event service.
• Able to coordinate teams and ensure smooth event execution.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively with the kitchen, service team, clients, and management.
• Professional, organised, and guest-oriented.
• Flexible to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• A valid driving licence and ability to drive would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise banquet operations before, during, and after events.
• Lead and organise the banquet service team to ensure smooth event execution.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams regarding menus, timing, and event requirements.
• Communicate with clients and management regarding event details and special requests.
• Ensure tables, service areas, equipment, and event setups are prepared according to standards.
• Monitor service quality and respond promptly to guest requests or concerns.
• Ensure banquet operations follow hygiene, safety, and service standards.
• Conduct post-event checks and provide feedback to improve future events.
